About Us
DeepNexus is committed to supporting and strengthening the work of practitioners and grant-makers in the development, humanitarian and philanthropic sector and their mission to deliver quality services to disadvantaged children and communities. In turn, through working closely with a variety of practitioners and grant-makers, ranging from grassroots to international levels, we hope to contribute towards improving the quality of life of the disadvantaged directly or indirectly.

With deep knowledge of our four areas of work, we communicate and collaborate deeply with our clients and partners in order to gain in-depth analysis and understanding of their needs, problems and challenges, so as to develop relevant, feasible and effective services that can support and strengthen their work and mission.

Managing Director
Yue Yao A specialist in disaster management for more than 10 years, Yao has been leading, managing and supporting humanitarian operations and disaster risk reduction projects and programs for various international and local NGOs and foundations in Asia, including Bangladesh, China, DPR Korea (North Korea), Iraq, Myanmar, Nepal, the Philippines and Vietnam. He also has rich experience in poverty alleviation and rural community development. The organizations he has worked for and collaborated with include ActionAid, Asia Foundation, Red Cross societies, Mercy Corps, Oxfam, Plan International, Save the Children, UNICEF as well as local foundations and NGOs in China. Prior to his commitment to the humanitarian and development sector, he has worked in both the public and the corporate sectors for more than a decade. With his multi-national, multi-sectoral experience, he is committed to building and strengthening regional networks and capacities in disaster management.
